Press the tape firmly after fixing it to ensure that it stays in place

For better results, use a tape dispenser

Using a hot tape or hot box or even if they are kept in a hot place, reduces its gumming capacity resulting in improper fixing

Box should be filled to its correct capacity. Tapes will not stay in place on half filled boxes

Tapes will not stay in place even on over-filled boxes

While fixing, keep an extra 2.5-3 inches of tape on the sides

Use a tape of suitable micron based on the thickness/weight of the box
